Thanks to idrawgirls.com as well as Randbin, I have gathered quite a number of helpful tips that can improve both my digital art speed and quality. Although I am still too slow to speed paint or complete a piece within a day to a week, this feels like a major improvement compared to my last results which takes weeks to even months. Hopefully, I can upload up to two pieces within the next week before the semester gets too rough.
While my speed and coloring did get better, control would be my next issue. I still seem to drift off slightly after placing perspective guidelines and other marks. This can be quite troublesome as this will backfire on my current speed. Other than that, I have yet to apply new techniques to environment and background composition. With my lousy background/environment techniques, I could use some new insight on that.
My only regret so far is that I didn't stumble upon these newfound styles a few years back...
